I have lived in Pembrokeshire most of my life. I went to Jeffreyston VC school in Cresselly and later to Greenhill school in Tenby. After taking my GCSE’s
I left school and went to Hereford school of Farriery where I gained my Dip WCF. I spent my apprenticeship years working with my Father, John Byrne Dip WCF, and since qualifying I have started my own round.

I live with my partner Zara. We have two sons, Joshua who was born in 2006 and Rhys who was born in 2012. My family have always had horses and I learnt to ride at an early age. We have two horses, a welsh section A and an appaloosa. Two dogs and three cats.

My son Joshua seems keen to carry on the family tradition and is practicing from an early age!
